Dr. Peress graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his Ob/Gyn residency program in 1980. In 1982, Dr. Peress completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his board certification in Ob/Gyn in 1986.
Since founding BocaFertility in 1982, Dr. Peress has trained many other doctors in advanced reproductive surgical techniques and has been called upon to lecture to patient and physician groups. Dr. Peress has been selected by his peers as a Top Doctor in the 1999 Top Doctors survey conducted by the Center for the Study of Services. He was named to the list of Top Doctors by South Florida Magazine in 1997 and has been listed in the new edition of the Best Physicians in the U.S. Dr. Peress is now performing minimally invasive
robotic laparoscopic surgery for removal
of uterine
fibroids and
reversal of sterilization.
Dr. Peress has been elected as a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (SRS), and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), the GynecoRadiology Society, the Gynecologic Laser Society and the Florida Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists. Dr. Peress is also a life member of the Endometriosis Association and served as the medical advisor to Resolve of the Palm Beaches.
MICHAEL B. MATILSKY, PH.D., H.C.L.D.
IVF Laboratory Director
Dr. Matilsky joined BocaFertility as the
IVF laboratory Director in 2000. He earned a Ph.D. in human anatomy
and developmental biology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1980. He performed postdoctoral research in sperm maturation at the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded a NASA postdoctoral fellowship to conduct research at Princeton University. He helped build and establish IVF laboratories in two hospitals in Israel prior to returning to the U.S. in 1998. He has authored more than 20 research publications in the field of reproductive medicine.
The meticulous care that he takes with each case helps us to maintain consistently high success rates insuring
that your confidence in us is well-placed. Dr. Matilsky is board-certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as a High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) in both Embryology and Andrology. Under his directorship, our IVF laboratory has been certified with distinction by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) since 2001.
VERONICA LEANDRO, RN, BSN
Infertility Nurse Coordinator
Veronica joined Boca Fertility in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from South University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Her commitment to patient education and her bright, friendly personality will help you understand and successfully complete your fertility treatment.
BETH PRATT, RN, BSN
IVF Nurse Coordinator
Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She later received her Master of Science (MS) from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Beth has specialized in fertility nursing since 2005. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Her caring, compassion and attention to detail will make your fertility treatment at BocaFertility a rewarding experience.
AMY SVORINICH, L.P.N.
IVF Nurse Coordinator
Amy Svorinich LPN has been an infertility nurse since 1993. Her certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), BCLS, Phlebotomy and IV therapy. Together with Jennie, our IVF nurse coordinators look forward to meet with you and to make sure your infertility treatment is a pleasant and successful experience.
LINDA VEREAULT, C.M.A.
Business and Insurance Manager
Linda joined BocaFertility in 2000 as business manager with experience in infertility practice management Since 1997. She has been certified by the Office Practice Management Institute of the Palm Beach County Medical Society. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and has successfully completed a program in value-driven management at Nova Southeastern University. Linda completed an educational program regarding Embryo Law and legal aspects of embryo status and disposition. She also completed HIPAA awareness training and is a certified medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants. As our Operating Room Manager, Linda has been certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.
